With over 30 years’ experience in the Technology arena, Phyllis Flynn is recognized as a visionary leader and champion of change who firmly believes that everyone needs an opportunity to grow.  Phyllis’ career began as a Computer Programmer in the mid-1970 where she learned to leverage her strengths to overcome the challenge of thriving in a male-dominated industry.
        In 1985, Phyllis joined the Information Systems Department in the Federal Government where she continued her career as a Computer Programmer.  In early 1990, she added telecommunications to her expertise as the sole Telecommunications Specialist for the agency in the Chicagoland area.  For 14 years, Phyllis provided analysis, coordination, and technical support for the voice and data telecommunications systems, equipment, and services. 
        As the industry advanced, Phyllis complimented her expertise with education as a graduate of Concordia University with a Bachelor of Arts degree, Magna Cum Laude with a specialty in Organizational Management.  As a result, she developed the ability to quickly provide solutions to complex problems and to communicate those solutions orally and in writing at a level sufficient to provide technical information to non-technical people gained her recognition and respect from the organization and her colleagues.  Out of her communication expertise and educational accomplishment, a teaching passion emerged and developed into the gifting that is the fundamental principle for 1st Touch Technology Service, LLC to go “beyond the common method” of service and learning. 
        Computer Programmer, Telecommunications, and IT Specialist A problem solver and teacher, two of the things that I do best. B.A. in Organizational Management, Magna Cum Laude, None of it came easy, so it really makes me proud Thirty years in the industry, doing this and that          Worked so many projects,that it helped me get to where I’m at So I can teach you technology without making you a nerd          
        
But it does make for some of the funniest stories ever heard.
